POXET-30 MG

Poxet-30 tablets are used to treat premature ejaculation (PE), which is one of the most common causes of sexual dysfunction in men.  It is defined as early ejaculation with minimal sexual stimulation before or soon after penetration and can cause distress and problems with relationships.  Poxet-30 is used to improve control over ejaculation and increase the time interval before ejaculation occurs during intercourse, for men with persistent or recurrent PE. 

HOW IT WORKS?

Poxet30mg tablets contain Dapoxetine Hydrochloride 30mg, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor which is used purposely for premature ejaculation, poxet has a brisk onset of action, with highest effect within 1-2 hours. Premature Ejaculation is a reflex that is mediated by the sympathetic nervous system. The ejaculation reflex is thought to be mediated by serotonin, a specific brain chemical or neurotransmitter that is involved is transmitting nerve signals, which enables brain cells to communicate.  Low levels of serotonin in certain areas of the brain are thought to be responsible for causing PE. Poxet blocks the reuptake of serotonin from the synapse, which is the gap between nerve cells across which chemical messages are sent from one nerve cell to another. This action of dapoxetine in Poxet-30 helps prolong the ability to maintain sexual activity without premature ejaculation and maintain control over ejaculation for longer.

DOSAGE OF POXET-30

• Poxet30 mg must be taken 1-3 hours before sexual intercourse (best results are observed on taking 1.5 hours before sexually intercourse).
• It can be taken with or without food.
• The effect last upto as long as 12-18 hours.
• Do not take more than 1 dose in 24 hours.

SIDE EFFECTS OF POXET 30 MG

Some of the common known side effects of Poxet30 mg are:

• Headache
• Dizziness
• Drowsiness
• Vomiting
• Nausea
• Indigestion
• Fatigue
• Increased Sweating
• Restlessness

Generally, the side effects go away as with time but if the condition starts worsening, consult your doctor immediately.

WARNING!!!!!

You should not use Poxet-30 tablets if you are allergic to dapoxetine, have severe liver or kidney disease, or suffering from a heart condition or heart failure, have a history of orthostatic hypotension (dizziness when standing up).
