About Careprost eye drops:

Careprost contains Bimatoprost which belongs to a group of medicines known as prostamides. It is an anti-glaucoma preparation, used to reduce high pressure in the eye. Eyes contain a clear, watery liquid that feeds the inside of the eye. Liquid is frequently being drained out of the eye and new liquid is made to replace this. If the liquid cannot drain out quickly, the pressure inside the eye builds up. Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has directed you. This medicine should only be applied to the eye.

Working of Careprost 3ml:

Careprost works by increasing the amount of liquid that is drained which reduces the pressure inside the eye. If the high pressure is not reduced, it could lead to a disease called glaucoma and eventually damage your sight. It reduces intraocular pressure (IOP) in humans by causing an increase in outflow of the aqueous humour via the trabecular meshwork and uveoscleral pathways. Careprost Eye Drop is a medicine used to reduce pressure in the eyes in adults with glaucoma and high pressure in the eye.

COMPOSITION:

The active ingredient of Careprost Eye drops is Bimatoprost 0.03% w/v.

How to Use Careprost:

Wash your hands before the application of drops into the eyes. First, tilt your head in a backward direction while sitting or lying down on the bed. Gently pull down your lower eyelid with your index finger then squeeze the drops into the eyes. Close your eyes for a few seconds, do not blink or open your eyes in between – otherwise, the liquid may drain from the eyes.

Careprost Side Effects:

The following side effects may or may not occur during the usage of these Careprost Eye Drops.It is generally well tolerated when used in prescribed dosage guidelines. More common ones are generally mild and may include:

Dry eyes
Visual disturbance

Careprost Precautions:

Keep this medication out of sight and reach of children.
Store at temperature, not 25 degree-centigrade. Do not freeze.
Use the drops within 1 month after opening the container.
